Monte P. Nathanson

Chairman of the board

Mr. Nathanson founded the predecessor companies which were amalgamated in 1969 to form The United Equities Group. Since then, the company has developed over 50 properties and currently owns and manages many properties in a wide geographical area. His strong vision and creativity have earned him an esteemed reputation for carving out innovative solutions for projects ranging from commercial hotels and multi-residential housing to shopping malls and office buildings. He was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba and attended the University of Manitoba.

Warren S. Greenspoon

Chief executive officer

Since 1982, when Mr. Greenspoon joined The United Equities Group as vice president, he has managed the successful development and acquisition of over 1,000,000 square feet of commercial space. Responsible for directing property and asset management, development, acquisition and disposition of holdings across North America, his focus is to provide leadership and foster a culture where employees are empowered and supported in their work. He thrives on the hands-on aspect of working with people to provide creative solutions to property challenges.

Mr. Greenspoon was born in Toronto, holds a BA from York University and an MBA from the University of Toronto.

Barb Lapointe

Chief operating officer

With the company since 1985, Ms. Lapointe handles supervision and administration for all properties that The United Equities Group manages. Responsible for day-to-day building operation, construction supervision and coordination of tenant improvements, her strength is attention to detail and her focus is on her strong relationships with tenants. Ms. Lapointe also derives great satisfaction in overseeing a project, from the development of a vacant lot to the creation of a beautiful, functional building that can serve the community.

Germaine Viallet

Chief financial officer

As CFO of The United Equities Group since 1974, Ms. Viallet is intimately involved in each project the company undertakes. Responsible for all financial and administrative affairs including accounting for all properties, reporting and forecasting, her work is based on absolute integrity and dedication to the company’s success.

Timothy S. Dewart

Legal Counsel

Mr. Dewart is a partner at Filmore Riley, LLP, and represents The United Equities Group.
